With its commitment to uphold the Bayanihan spirit, Avion BPO Corporation focused its camaraderie and support to our local schools in ensuring learning continuity while taking into account the well-being of teachers and students during this COVID-19 pandemic.
The project aptly called Eskwela Drive aims to help the education sector in preparing teachers and learner adapt to the challenges of the pandemic. With the new normal of education entailing a shift to modular and distance learning strategies, it is with great importance that educators are provided with tools for production of modules and other supplemental needs. Hence, Avion BPO Corporation coordinated with local schools and the local government to aid in carrying out their various distance learning pursuits.
To date, the company has turned over 650 reams of coupon bond, printer inks, and sets of school materials to various schools in Ilocos Norte and the Laoag City and Provincial governments. There are 36 elementary schools and two high school beneficiaries as of this writing and the company aims to reach out to more schools in the next phases of the project.
The Eskwela Drive is a continuation of Avion’s perennial Love Drive, initiated by the company’s directors, Von Ryan V. Nagasangan. Joy V. Nagasangan, and Norman V. Nagasangan, for communities in need. Together, we soar higher.
